South Asia Minority Alliance Foundation (SAMAF) is a US-based non-profit organization. We represent interests and issues relating to religious and ethnic minorities living in South Asia: Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and Bhutan, in the United States of America. Leader of the organization is Mr. Nadeem Nusrat, who also chairs the organization, and enjoys support from South Asia’s major religious and ethnic groups.
SAMAF has been raising awareness about the issue of South Asian religious and ethnic minorities, particularly the case of millions of Mohajirs in urban Sindh, at every relevant platform and in US capital. At a Congressional hearing at Capitol Hill, Nadeem Nusrat forcefully pointed out discriminatory practices faced by religious and ethnic minorities in Pakistan.
